Chat policy

Version 1. Accept this policy before your first message. Bill conversations are for respectful discussion between people with access to the bill.

Do not post abuse, harassment, threats, illegal material, sexual content, private credentials or another person's sensitive information. A small automated word/phrase filter rejects obvious examples; it does not detect all harmful content.

Use a message's menu to report a message or user, or block that person in chat. Blocking is reversible and affects your chat content and chat notifications only. It never changes shared bills, balances or group membership. Authorized support operators review reports and can hide abusive chat content.

Chat is stored on our server and is not end-to-end encrypted. Reports and message content may be reviewed by authorized support operators. Contact mail@merosplit.com for support, urgent abuse reports or personal-data requests.
